A BIT ABOUT ME
My Experience, My Journey
I did not enter a boxing gym until the age of 30, initially just to keep fit. Despite the late start I dedicated the next 8 years of my life to boxing, taking part in 64 bouts, beating 3 Olympians and becoming a world ranked international boxer in the process. During that time, I took part in 2 Commonwealth Games, 2 World Championships, 1 Pan American Games and became Dominica's first ever medalist at a Continental Boxing Championship, as well as medalling at several international tournaments and winning an ABA National Championship. I competed in my second Commonwealth Games 5 months and 28 kilos after giving birth to my son Hamish.
After hanging up my gloves in April 2018, I now train others to get in shape through boxing fitness and do motivational talks at events and corporate companies.
